Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our HRS team (Housing Related Support) in Haringey (N15, N17 & N22). You will join us on a full-time basis (37.5 hours a week) and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £21,547, plus benefits.

In our supported living environment, adults with moderate learning difficulties are supported -from daily living tasks to emotional support, social integration, and participation in the community- to learn new skills to lead fulfilling lives.
The people we support are at the centre of everything we do at the service and are actively encouraged to get involved in all aspects of their life.
All these tasks involve building an interpersonal relationship with our service users. To build these relationships and to provide effective support, being respectful, patient, and compassionate are very important.
Skills and experience of our Support Worker:
- An understanding of the discrimination likely to be faced by people with learning and physical difficulties
- Positive attitude to community integration and a good team player
- Understand what it takes to support someone with a disability
- Ability to react positively, sensibly, and calmly in a crisis
- Basic understanding of IT skills
- Be comfortable with lone working
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work imaginatively and flexibly with Users
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Ability to be pro-active and take responsibility for projects
