Description
- Managing and implementing health and safety procedures across the Logistics Department
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation
- Training and mentoring staff on health and safety practices
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain standards
- Responding to any health and safety incidents in a timely and effective manner
- Compiling and presenting health and safety performance reports
- Developing and maintaining relationships with external health and safety bodies
- Overseeing the management of health and safety documentation
Profile
A successful Health and Safety Operations Manager should have:
- A degree in Health and Safety or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Offer
You will receive salary of £47,000. The role offers the opportunity to work from home once per week.
