Offering an excellent opportunity to join a strong team within a growing manufacturing company, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with the continuous improvement of HSE performance.
- Complete risk assessments and associated safe systems of work/work instruction revisions and implementation.
- Manage corporate accident and environmental performance reporting.
- Support and cover the HSE Manager in their absence.
About you
In addition to having a team-based approach and continuous improvement mindset, you will need the following experience:
- Previous experience within ta manufacturing role and the associated machinery and process risk assessments.
- Forman NVQ/NEBOSH Health and Safety qualifications.
- Knowledge of accident investigation, behavioural safety and root cause analysis techniques.
- Experience of warehouse and material handling safety alongside developing and implementing safe systems of work/work instructions.
- Experience of chemical safety management and control (COSHH and ATEX) would be desirable.
- Further knowledge of ISO 14001 processes and HSE audition desirable.
