Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Officer to join their ever-growing team based in Wotton-under-Edge.

Key Responsibilities – HSE Officer

• Lead the company 5S programme.
• Ensure Environmental compliance including monthly H&S tours.
• Maintain & review COSHH register.
• Maintain & review training matrix & propose training.
• Organize and manage the company’s assets & facilities, including planning of maintenance and compliance.
• Organise 6 Monthly H&S committee meetings and accident reviews.
• Maintain all standards of Health and Safety Rules of the Company.
• Work within the company’s ISO9001:2015 system.
• Maintain good standards in the workplace, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Attend meetings and training as required. This may include visiting customers’ sites to carry out design duties.
• General office duties as required or directed including help with answering the phones in the sales office.

Qualifications & Experience – HSE Officer

• Experience within health & safety role
• Health & safety qualification
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Working to ISO9001 or similar
