HSEQ / Lead Auditor– Nuclear Supply Chain – South West UK
£45 per hour (based on 40hr week + outside IR35) + mileage + overnight accommodation + food allowance + extensive & interesting client portfolio + global, collaborative business environment + long-term contract work (min 12months & rolling)
HSEQ / Lead Auditorresponsibilities include:
- Act as a Lead Auditor, visiting various supply chain sites across the UK.
- Assimilate, understand and operate the Quality Management System.
- Responsible for undertaking audit activities for a range of organisations.
- Prepare audit plan and assist in organizing the work of the audit team.
- Write reports; perform follow-up; provide certification recommendations.
- Ensure audit reports, finding evidence and auditor notes are submitted.
- Ensure client non-conformities are closed, review and analyse client responses.
- Provide answers to any requests arising during the technical review of files.
- Ensure all quality and client records related to audit and certification activities are maintained and up to date.
HSEQ / Lead Auditorprofile:
- Educated to Degree level or similar.
- Practitioner Member CQI (Chartered Quality Institute) or similar.
- IRCA Auditor (International Register of Certificated Auditors).
- 3yrs Lead Audit experience; Min 2yrs external Lead Audit experience.
- Must have experience auditing within the Nuclear Supply Chain environment.
- ISO 9001; ISO 14001; ISO 18001; ideally ISO 27001 quality management systems experience.
- LEAN / Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Management systems.
- Experience assisting & organising audit teams beneficial.
- Client / stakeholder management experience.
- Confident communication & presentation skills.
- Happy to travel to individual supply chain sites, UK wide.
