Hseq Manager

Bela Recruitment is currently seeking an HSEQ Officer/Managerto work from the Maghera area, Derry/Tyrone area of Northern Ireland.
Salary – £45,000 - £55,000 (Call me to discuss title & salary)
Location – Maghera area, Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland – Only apply if you already live in Northern Ireland and can commute to Maghera daily.
VISA – Not interested in anyone needing visa sponsorships or on restricted visa status.

The Company
For the past 30 years, this business has been the leading provider of services in this sector across Northern Ireland, they have a skilled and loyal workforce, and require an experienced HSEQ Officer/Manager to ensure compliance & best practice across Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental systems.

Responsibilities
· Ensure all standards and company policies are met across HSEQ Management systems.
· Proactively lead by example, identify, and prevent hazards and help minimise risk.
· Report to the MD and ensure a culture of continuous improvement across all management systems, ensuring all staff follow company guidelines at all times.
· Promote a culture of engagement, understanding and compliance with all HSEQ policies.
· Focus on preventative action, training, monitoring & compliance.
· Manage the completion of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 & IS internal audits.
· Maintain accurate records of all inspections, safety audits, accidents/incidents, risk assessments, COSHH Assessments and Fire Risk Assessments, with a constant desire to improve all.

Requirements
· Min of 3+ years operational management of HSEQ Systems, ideally gained within Transport or Construction related sectors, but we are also open to others sector experience.
· Experience in producing internal audits to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
· NEBOSH Certificate as a min, preferably 3rd Level EHS Qualification.
· A driven, proactive attitude, with the ability to drive change & improvements in compliance.
· Excellent solutions, planning and organisational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a team player.
· Driving Licence

Rewards
£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
