Your new company is a specialist M&E and integrated facilities management contractor based in Co. Tyrone, offering mechanical & electrical installation services ranging from small one-off projects to large-scale £multi-million schemes.
Over the last 50+ years, they have successfully provided a full range of Mechanical, Electrical and Facilities Management services to clients, across both public and private sectors throughout the UK and Ireland and now due to company requirements, the contractor are now seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join their Co. Tyrone based team.
Your new role
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing HSEQ on a range of M&E and FM schemes across Northern Ireland, including ongoing frameworks with local, high-profile clients.
You will be tasked with managing and maintaining company IMS systems and ISO accreditations. You will create and complete risk assessments & method statements alongside conducting site audits on a weekly basis. You will lead and deliver health & safety initiative with the support of Senior Managers to help raise awareness of risks and hazards. Your time throughout the week will be split between head office in Co. Tyrone and various sites across NI. You will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule and diary each week.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered successful for the role, you will have previous experience working in a similar role within a construction environment. You'll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. Ideally you will be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level or hold a relevant BSc Degree.
