Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HSQE Officer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the company in meeting its H&S obligations.
- To support site leadership in the maintenance and continual improvement of the quality environmental and health and safety management systems.
- To support H&S, quality and environmental meetings ensuring completion of records and identification of risks, and minute taking.
- To support process development of the H&S, quality and environmental and systems in line with business needs and the strategic direction.
- To conduct internal audits, ensuring completing of documentation and corrective action is undertaken where necessary.
- To support corrective action investigation, accident investigation and near misses.
- Support the operations manager in overall site monitoring of the quality environmental and health and safety management systems e.g. maintain appropriate dashboard used for reporting.
- Manage site facilities (including maintenance) ensuring legal compliancy through third parties and ensure records.
- To support the facilitation of continual improvement in procedures and processes, and that issues are correctly recorded, and corrective action takes place.
- To advise of any inconsistencies in documentation and processes.
- Monitor correction and corrective action progress.
- Ensure risks are addressed and improvements captured.
- Coordinate and track HSQE training programs for employees.
- Manage and coordinate risk assessments and support and assist in risk mitigation strategies.
