HSQE Advisor (Energy Divison)

Salary - £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Working Hours - 8am to 5pm/ Monday to Friday

Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a HSQE Advisorto join our ENERGY Division of the Business. This role is field based with frequent travelling involved to various MJ Quinn sites cross the Northwest

About the role:

Led by the HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality and Environment) Director, the department’s role is to help the business make the best choices for the safety, environment, health and quality of out operation, our team and our customers.

As a HSQE Advisor you will provide technical guidance, advice and assurance on all HSQE matters to support the Managing Director and operational leaders. This will allow effective risk management of work sites covering telecoms Service Delivery arm for the business.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued,and resolved.
• Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
• Provide expert HSQE advice, monitoring, assurance and support to employees and sub-contractors on HSQE related matters and initiatives.
• Define options and make recommendations for remedial and preventative actions in order to secure sustained compliance with MJQ IMS, legislation and customers’ requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a HSQE Advisor role.
• HSQE qualification.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Certificate in Construction Safety or equivalent.
