Job description

The post holder will manage and provide leadership to develop and operationalise a range of services delivered through Oldham’s Family Hub Model and early family support within a geographical area of Oldham.

Enhanced DBS - must be present on submittal

Manage, support and supervise team assistants (child and family workers) ensuring that services they deliver are of good quality have identifiable outcomes and contribute to the performance indicators identified for Family Hubs, the 0-19 Children and Families Integrated Service and wider Early Years Strategy

Ensure the delivery of safeguarding services to children and young people. Policies, procedures and controls ensure that the area of responsibility is compliant with all relevant legislation, codes, regulations, guidelines, standards and best practice

 To be responsible for operational management of Family Hub buildings. Including health and  safety, security, staff and service users.

Work closely with the senior managers in the service to ensure data is used effectively so that staff target families most in need through their engagement, outreach and group work delivery

To monitor service performance and recommend improvements by working collaboratively with services users, staff and the integrated management team, develop practical solutions to address them ensuring resources are used effectively and to avoid duplication of provision
