Job Summary

In support of Company goals and objectives, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will establish a strategic partnership with operations and departments to support the delivery and execution of workforce planning, staffing and recruitment efforts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with department managers to enable the successful delivery of Company recruitment goals and objectives
  • Sources, vets, and pre-screen applicants for open job requisitions using various recruitment techniques and sources
  • Works with offshore HRBPs for reviewing and placing internal employees from succession plan and internal transfer request list in open positions
  • Negotiates, proposes and prepares offers for potential candidates in accordance with HR compensation group
  • Ensures candidates are vetted, receive pre-employment testing, receive visas/work permits, etc
  • Ensures all stakeholders are informed and in agreement with internal and external candidates placements
  • Ensures compliance with global HR procedures, employment law and government regulations
  • Prepares management reports on HR recruitment data such as applicant tracking, interviews, status of open positions, and any other data required
  • Works with HR personnel and hiring managers to create and/or amend job descriptions for new and existing positions whenever required
  • Assists in recruitment activities, such as career fairs, campus recruitment, etc
  • Assists on project-based tasks as appropriate
  • Coordinates green hand program
  • Advises management on potential discrimination issues during the recruitment process and makes recommendations to ensure compliance with Company and governmental policies
  • Ensures fair and consistent treatment of applicants and candidates during the recruitment process
  • Travels to visit assigned offshore units, where permitted, as and when required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years being in talent acquisition

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met
  • Proactive problem-solving / critical thinking capabilities
  • Experience influencing and advising leadership on talent and data insights
