Humanities Teacher
Location: Slough

Full & Part time hours available
£30,000 – £46,000
Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in History, Geography, and Social Studies
- Develop and implement curriculum that encourages critical thinking and a deep understanding of the humanities
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Encourage students to explore diverse perspectives and develop their analytical skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development initiatives
Qualifications:
- QTS Secondary or PGCE preferred but not essential
- A bachelor’s degree in history, geography, social sciences, or a related field (a teaching certification or credential is preferred)
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Be educated to degree level
- Strong understanding of curriculum standards and educational best practices
