Position: Humanities Teacher

Step Teachers are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a "Good" Ofsted-rated school in London, starting in September 2024 on a full-time basis. Humanities Teacher – Role:

• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Maintain an organised and professional classroom environment, ensuring all resources are readily available.
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members within the department and throughout the school.
• Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Adhere to and implement the school’s policies consistently and effectively.

Humanities Teacher – Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary schools.
• Have recent experience as a Humanities Teacher in a mainstream school setting - KS3 Geography and KS4 History.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
