Role and Responsibilities:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for learning within KS3 and KS4 students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum, ensuring students develop a deep understanding of Humanities subjects.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting active participation and effective behaviour management strategies.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to the overall success of the Humanities department.
- Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Innovation: Bring creativity and innovation to the classroom, incorporating modern teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Extra-Curricular Involvement: Actively participate in and contribute to extracurricular activities, fostering a holistic approach to education.
