Academics are looking for a dynamic individual to join us on a full-time, temporary supply contract until Easter, with the possibility of extension, at our vibrant partner school in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

Position:Humanities Teacher

Contract: Full-time, Temporary Supply (until Easter in the first instance with possibility of extension)

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £140 - £190 per day (depending on experience in line with pay scales)

About the Role: As a Humanities Teacher with Academics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and effective lessons that align with the National Curriculum. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Humanities lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Monitoring, assessing, and tracking student progress to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
• Implementing effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the department and the school.
• Providing support and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Experience as a Humanities Teacher in a busy secondary school environment is essential.
• A strong, in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum for ICT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
• Strong behavior management skills and a dedication to student progress.
• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to secure a new one.
• Based in the UK and able to travel to Worksop, Nottinghamishire
