- Carry out engineering of HVAC for Nuclear Island, Conventional Island and Balance of the Plant in all project phase.
- Carry out feasibility studies, conceptual design, basic and front-end design, detail engineering and design
- Develop internal standards and specific design criteria for HVAC incorporating international and local standards
- Interface system, layout, civil and fire fighting engineers define the HVAC systems for the plant
- Support development of 3D model and BIM implementation of HVAC systems
- Define the specifications of the equipment and items for nuclear island and balance of plant
- Develop criteria, perform verifications, prepare drawings, VFD and schemes for the systems under responsibility
- Cooperate to the development of cause and effects, control logic and control descriptions
- Prepare specifications for equipment to be purchased and perform vendor print review
- Participate to reviews and implement safety requirements in design
- Coordinate, plan and supervise the work
- Collaborate to the identification of breakthrough solutions to the most complex challenges
- Write and review design criteria and analysis assessment reports
- Participate to preparation of procedures for commissioning, start-up and operation of systems included in balance of plant.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams including security
- Coordinate assigned work with other technical personnel as directed.
- Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
- 5 years’ experience in nuclear HVAC design.
- Use of codes and standards for HVAC (nuclear).
- Knowledge of engineering cycle for development of feasibility, basic design, FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and start-up.
- Good knowledge of design and analysis principles for large or complex systems.
- Understanding of analytical techniques and relevant design codes.
- Ability to participate in team meetings and give technical presentations.
- Degree in Engineering
- Master or PhD is a plus
Italian and French (Desirable): While not mandatory, a basic to intermediate level of proficiency in Italian and French is desirable for this position. The ability to communicate in Italian and French can be advantageous, as it will facilitate effective liaison and collaboration with our French and Italian teams.
Location:
Regular business travel will be required to our offices in Turin (Italy) and Lyon (France), in order to collaborate and build strong working relationships within our Global Engineering Team.
