My client is a highly reputable Mechanical Contractor, specialising in the commercial, retail, and hospital sectors. Based in Stoke, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our mechanical division and drive new business development. We are looking for a Head of Mechanical Estimation to join our team and take the lead in establishing and expanding our mechanical division. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual who can contribute to our growth and success. The successful candidate will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, with four days remote and one day in our Stoke office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategy to expand our mechanical division, focusing on the commercial, retail, and hospital sectors.
- Lead the estimation process for potential projects, ensuring competitive and accurate cost proposals.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships and networks.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align the mechanical division with the company's overall goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulations.
- Mentor and lead a team of estimators, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mechanical estimation and business development within the commercial, retail, and hospital sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to bring in new business and build lasting client relationships.
- Leadership skills to manage a team and drive strategic growth.
