If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Design and Advanced Technology (D&AT) Practice. We are looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to join our team, based principally in our Epsom office but with opportunities to work at our own and our client locations elsewhere in the UK and overseas.

As a Hydraulic Engineer in the D&AT Practice, you will:

  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Accountability and responsibility for work carried out by yourself or the team.

  • Self-motivation to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Flexible attitude to the type of work undertaken, level of responsibility given, and work location.
  • Experience coordinating with other disciplines in multi-discipline projects.
  • Compliance with CDM regulations in design.
  • Progress towards becoming Professionally Qualified (CEng, MICE, or equivalent qualification).
  • Strong communication skills, independent working, presenting, and influencing skills.

It would be desirable if you also have:

  • Experience in hydraulic design of treatment plants or pipelines and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
  • Experience in the use of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other modelling software.
  • Robust understanding of contracts (principally NEC forms) and their administration.
  • GIS

Need minimum 5years experience in UK with Client, consultants or contractor.
