Hygiene Manager
Cinderford, Gloucestershire

Monday to Friday, working 7pm to 3.30/4am.
40-45 hours per week. (Some flexibility required).
Hygiene Manager required for a well renowned food manufacturer. The role offers long term stability and the opportunity to lead a team within a key function of the business.
The Hygiene Manager Role:
- Efficient and effective management of the evening shift cleaning team, ensuring all hygiene functions are completed to the required standard; continuously striving to find new ways to improve efficiency and quality of the cleaning processes.
- Ensure the department is adequately resourced at all times, maintaining and developing the appropriate skill base as required.
- Engage, motivate and develop the team to enable the achievement of KPIs and satisfactory completion and sign-off of all cleaning processes.
- Completion of daily cleaning audits, ensuring that corrective actions are recorded and subsequently carried out.
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by Site Management.
The Successful Quality Supervisor:
- Previous experience working in a hygiene team/department; knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment.
- Confident with H&S and COSHH regulations (in house training is provided).
- Effective communication skills at all levels both internal and external.
- Must be flexible towards shift patterns and willingness to work hours outside the shift pattern (including Saturdays and Bank Holidays).
