Who we are?

Gelupo has been making the best gelato this side of the Alps for over a decade, sweetening life from its retail store in the heart of London’s Soho and online.

The second venture from Chef Jacob Kenedy, who is also behind Bocca di Lupo, Gelupo is located just opposite the award-winning restaurant on Archer Street.

At Gelupo, we make all our gelati in-house, using the finest ingredients in the market and real Italian recipes. Our customers will always find house favourites joined by an ever-changing selection of seasonal and unexpected flavours.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for part-time, passionate, detail oriented and hardworking Ice Cream chef to join our expanding kitchen team. People who take pride in producing top notch products and keeping Gelupo at the top of the list of places you can find real Italian gelato in London.

Desirable skills we would like you to have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience making gelato
  • Confident in your gelato making technique
  • Be diligent with the cleaning processes and paperwork procedures.
  • Feel comfortable to work on your own, but equally enjoy working with your colleagues in a nice and relaxed environment.

It's a great offer for anyone who wants to become a member of one of the most amicable teams in London and at the same time improve their skills and learn from the best gelato makers in London. We can also offer training for the right candidate if you don't have the relevant experience.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Receiving deliveries
  • Conducting daily gelato making
  • Conducting prep for the following day
  • Respectfully following the established methods for making gelato
  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Liaising with Head Chef regarding any issues
  • Placing daily orders
