The sun has just started to come out and we are preparing for the summer season ahead. We are ramping up our production and need an enthusiastic person to join the team. Your main task will be to support the production staff to make the Ice cream, by keeping the kitchen, utensils and machinery clean. But you will also learn everything you need to know about how to make Ice cream from start to finish. You will prep ingredients, purée fruit, praline nuts, bake inclusions and help with the making of the Ice cream itself. You will also help the team with labelling pots, packing Ice cream, counting and tidying stock.
You do not need to know anything about making Ice cream, but some experience working in a kitchen is preferable. You will receive both in-house and online training to get your Food Safety and Hygiene certificate. You need to be reliable, organised, hard-working with a "can-do" attitude and a friendly disposition to join our cheerful team.
The hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am to roughly 5pm, but once the season gets going in July, the day will start at 7am. During the summer holidays, you will still be working 5 days a week, but this will include one in every two Saturdays.
