Job Title: Ice Cream Server

Metropolis London, an exciting new food market in Vauxhall, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Ice Cream Servers. As an Ice Cream Server, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our customers by providing exceptional service and serving delicious Ice Cream treats.

Responsibilities:

• Scoop and serve a variety of Ice Cream flavors with precision and attention to detail.
• Greet customers warmly and engage with them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take and accurately process customer orders, including special requests and dietary preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Ice Cream station, including keeping scoops, utensils, and toppings well-stocked and sanitized.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in restocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth flow of operations during peak hours.
• Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary needs.
• Uphold Metropolis London's brand standards and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations.
