Reed Further Education is now recruiting for an ICT Digital Skills Lecturer to join the one of our fantastic Lancaster based colleges.

Job Title:ICT Digital Skills Lecturer

Location: Lancaster

Hours: Tuesdays (half day), Wednesdays (9am-4pm), and Thursdays (9am-11am (you will be paid for 3 hours)

Contract: Temporary - At least until Easter, potential for an extension

Salary: £30-35 per hour

You will be responsible for delivering up to Level 2 for the Aspire Programme at the college. Topics will include video editing, photography, animation, and games development among others.

What the role will entail:

  • Develop engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, promoting their growth and self-confidence.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular updates.

What we need from you:

  • A degree or similar in relevant subject area
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Track record in effective teaching of subject
  • GCSE or equivalent maths and English
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to get one
