Greenfield It are pleased to be recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of one of the UK’s leading construction manufacturers based in Shropshire.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll maintain LANs and WAN infrastructure, support projects, and ensure the Helpdesk functions efficiently.
The successful candidate will partake in various infrastructure and desktop projects to support strategic roadmap and continual improvement, working closely with the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Distribution and Finance teams to support daily operations.
Infrastructure Engineer Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Azure support, Hyper-V, SANs, and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of networking, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Experience in disaster recovery testing and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with backup solutions, endpoint security, and endpoint management.
- Ability to analyse root causes of Helpdesk requests and address potential security risks promptly.
- Previous involvement in Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution operations is advantageous.
