Ict Project Manager

The ICT Governance, Change and Assurance Team engages with the business community across SCC and external partners to understand how technology can support their needs and ensure that they implement the right solution, gaining maximum benefits from their investments. Alongside work for business area we currently have an extensive portfolio of technical projects. We are looking for the right individual to assist the team in delivering this exciting and challenging work.

Interview dates: Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd March 2024

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of technical and business change projects, ensuring that our 'Cloud First' strategy is at the forefront.

As an ICT Project Manager this may also include managing an ICT workstream of a larger project, working alongside business area or supplier PM’s.

Working as part of the PMO team we encourage and support colleagues to develop, ensuring the team strives to be the best it can.

The ideal candidate should

• possess excellent interpersonal skills, acting as a translator between business, suppliers and ICT
• be highly motivated, self-starter with a drive to succeed
• have a track record of successful project deliveries, with a ‘can do’ attitude
• be able to deal with a range of issues and conflicting demands, knowing when to escalate
• provide a calming influence even under pressure.
