Ict Support Technician

A new opportunity has arisen for a flexible and resourceful ICT Support Technician to join our team at Wyedean School and Sixth Form Centre.
Job overview
The role involves providing initial triage and support for all ICT issues in the school, implementing fixes where possible, and escalation to senior colleagues where required. The Schools systems comprise of a primarily windows network, with an HP networking core and wireless infrastructure. The school utilises a Microsoft Office 365 environment.
Job requirementsA vocational or academic qualification in the relevant subject area (ICT Apprenticeship, MCP etc.) with a minimum of 2 years applied practical experience OR a minimum of 5 years practical experience in a relevant work area together with a good level of general education normally evidenced by a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) at Grade C or above or other equivalents.
