Hours: 40 hours per week, with some flexible evening or weekend hours (Permanent Full Time Role). We may also have oportunities for freelance / part-time Image Coordinators so please state if you are available to work freelance / part-time when applying.
Location: UniQ Studios, South-East London

We have a vacancy for an experienced and diligent, Image Coordinator and Retoucher with a keen eye for detail, and a high technical ability in Adobe Photoshop and natural creative flair. The primary responsibly of this role is to perform art working and image editing of photography, as well as to perform quality control on images, create guidelines and feedback to the photography team and other retouchers within the company. You will mostly be working on fashion and product photography, but other duties can involve working with interactive media or video, so you should have a natural interest in all things creative.

The person appointed will have a strong passion and experience in creative production, with 2 or more years experience in photography, creative media, or within a similar creative agency.

You will work closely with the Founder and Creative Director, and the vacancy represents a strong career development opportunity for a hard-working and ambitious individual to learn and grow within a small but fast moving progressive company.

Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Core duties
  • Retouching high volume of images to include batch processing, resizing and cropping.
  • Retouch invisible mannequin, model, product and jewelry Images.
  • Retouching creative images.
  • Accurately follow detailed retouching notes provided by our Client or Line Managers
  • Support the management of production process and day-to-day operations
  • Update Pre-Shoot or Requirements Form with Client details and specifications
  • Traffic image workflow from start to finish, run checkpoints with Creative director for incremental approvals
  • Maintain and organise all production assets on our servers
  • Supporting other team members and provide inspiration.
  • Workflow software updates
  • Quality Assurance and management of post-production of imagery (including photography, video, 360 spins and bespoke creative media) ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained
  • Image editing and colour check/match images with garments/products ensuring consistent colour accuracy
  • Maintain and organise all production assets on our servers
Other duties
  • Collaborate with creative director to produce marketing material including print and web
  • Video editing and colour adjustment/grading of video content
  • Provide creative direction and assist with production of in-house and client Web Design, Branding and Print Design projects, and create creative content from design visuals
  • Assists with operations and business management tasks


Job Requirements:
Essential
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and have natural creative flair
  • Previous experience working within a similar eCommerce photographic studio or creative agency in a similar image processing or creative production role
  • Exceptional colour correcting skills
  • High technical and creative proficiency in beauty/skin and hair retouching as well as product retouching
  • Exceptional Adobe Photoshop Skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of retouching workflows.
  • Must be a completer-finisher, diligent and very well organised
  • Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to change priorities quickly and accept change with a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain a high quality of work whilst working in a fast passed environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines (no 9 to 5 mentality)

Desirables
  • Design, Photography or Media related academic background
  • Competency using Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro and After Effects would be an advantage
