Import Administrator

We are delighted to be working alongside our client, an established, professional and highly reputable business as they seek to recruit an Import Administrator to join their friendly team, within their offices based close to Haywards Heath.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small but busy team within a successful and progressive organisation. This role is available due to expansion and strong business levels within the company.

Import Administrator

Full time permanent role - office based

Mon-Fri 0900-1730 full time permanent role

Role based close to Haywards Heath. Due to rural but unique and picturesque working location, you will need to be a driver and have your own transport. There is plenty of free parking available on site for staff.

Salary - £28000-£30000 per annum plus very good company benefits

Duties will include:

• Raising orders on the operating system
• Liaise with suppliers regarding availability dates
• Liaise with carriers/hauliers for loading/shipment dates
• Collate order documentation
• Liaise with customs clearance office
• Liaise with customers
• Customer teams calls/meetings

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

• Knowledge of Import procedures and movements
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures
• Good computer skills
• Good telephone manner
• Due to office location, you will need to be a driver and have your own transport
