Import Coordinator

Import Coordinator (100% office based)

• Management and coordination of customers consignments
• Preparing and obtaining documentation from customers and agents. These will be for all modes of transport i.e. sea/air (FCL/LCL/Shared Container service and airfreight)
• Liaising with suppliers, shipping lines, airfreight agents, brokers, road crews and overseas partners to ensure all aspects of the move from arrival transport, shipping, delivery and transit schedules are kept within the standard of service the company requires.
• Arranging customs clearance (via 3rd party), booking haulage slots with various shipping lines, delivery dates with road crews, warehouse loading slots, confirming dates with the customers and sending out-turn and performance reports to agents following delivery.
• Review and approval of supplier purchase invoices
