Import/Export Executive role with a great business based in Harrogate.

Own car needed due to the location of my client.

Role Details:

• Up to £35K depending on experience.
• Full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.
• 24 days plus bank holidays, (4 to be retained for Christmas shut down).

Job Description:

The Import/Export Executive will be responsible for managing the import and export process from start to finish. You will ensure this is conducted efficiently and complies with international and domestic regulations, and in accordance with HMRC customs regulations and licencing requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate Import/Export shipment activities, including licence applications, custom clearance and documentation for a variety of products.
• Monitor and analyse Import/Export data to identify compliance issues and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and licencing regulations.
• Conduct regular audits across all areas of regulatory compliance.

The successful Import/Export Executive:

• Previous experience working in an Import/Export environment.
• Experience with Import/Export compliance including HMRC regulations.
• Experience with import licence and application requirements.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills (Microsoft Office).
