Job Title: In-House Barrister / Dispute Resolution Consultant
Location: Bristol
Salary: From GBP35,000 per annum DOE and qualifications
Job type: Full time, Permanent, Monday Friday, no weekends
The Role:
We are looking to appoint applicants who are keen to develop a career in law or in construction claims and Dispute Resolution.

This role is office based.
The Company:
CCC is a leading company in the field of construction Dispute Resolution, dealing with a range of national and international construction projects worth up to tens of millions of pounds.
About You:
This is a varied and interesting position to suit either:
A BPTC graduate, ideally with some post qualification experience and a good track record in contentious work; or A candidate with suitable experience in construction claims, quantity surveying or commercial management. A sound knowledge of contract law is essential. Familiarity with construction law and practice is advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
Role and Responsibilities:

We primarily deal with contentious construction matters, including claim preparation, commercial negotiations, arbitration, adjudication, assistance with litigation and mediation. In addition to this we assist clients with a range of non-contentious matters. The role involves assisting senior fee earners on a range of cases, preparation of legal documents, and correspondence. You will eventually have your own case load that will be supervised by the senior team. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Benefits:
