In-House Bookkeeper

In - House Bookkeeper - London, £30,000 - £35,000
I am currently working with a great client in the fitness and healthcare sector who are on the hunt for an In-House Bookkeeper to be able to join their team in a permanent position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping tasks across 3 sites and collaborating with their outsourced accountancy firm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up to date financial records for all transactions.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure consistency in financial data
* Manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Processing invoices and payments in a timely manner
* VAT filing
* Monthly payroll
* Liaison with the outsourced accountancy firm to ensure seamless data and information is processed.
* Monitor and track costs - help identify cost saving opportunities.
* Ensuring compliance
Essentials:
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
* Ideally in the leisure or hospitality sector
* Proficient in accounting software and using Excel
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisation and time management skiills
* Effective communication
