SalaryA rare In-house position has become available for suitably qualified Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join a leading medical trade association based in Hertfordshire.
Hybrid working available with 1-2 day per week office based.
You will be a qualified solicitor or CILEx with a minimum of 1-2 years PQE, NQ's will also be considered.
Using your knowledge of Clinical Negligence (defendant) you'll be responsible for providing expert advice and counsel to members & supporting the Senior Legal Counsel.
The Legal advisor will interface between the organisation and clients / policy holders. You'll need to be commercially minded with a healthy risk appetite.
The Legal advisor will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience dealing and litigating personal injury & Clinical Negligence claims, claimant and defendant experience will be considered.
- Expert knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and pre-action protocols
- Solid understanding of Contract, Tort/Delict, Criminal Law & Civil Procedure
- Expert professional liability & public indemnity knowledge. Employers liability knowledge would be advantageous
