In-House Construction Lawyer - hybrid & FT/PT

Excellent opportunity for a specialist Construction Lawyer to join a highly profitable organisation (renowned for its strong culture and ethos) and take the lead on all construction related matters. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will liaise with the senior stakeholders in the group in relation to day-to-day projects and commercial contracts relating to building contracts, schedules of amendments, collateral warranties & consultant/professional appointments. The vast majority of the work is non-contentious, however there will occasionally be involvement in potential litigation, working with the Head of Legal and external advisors.

The successful individual will enjoy working on a variety of contracts (JCT, NEC & bespoke forms) up to £20m+, giving high level reviews on tender documentation, assessing legal risk and opportunity, giving advice on projects and compliance, and assisting with any litigation matters.

Additionally, there is scope to be involved in the management and supervision of more junior lawyers in the team.

You should be a strong communicator, self-motivated and proactive, with a track record of dealing with high-level construction matters. On offer is a generous remuneration package offering a wide range of benefits. Hybrid working. Full-time or part-time Construction Lawyers are equally of interest.
