Description
They are looking for an experienced In-house Construction Lawyer to support the small but growing legal function, primarily on non-contentious construction matters.
- Review and advise in relation to terms, NEC and JCT forms;
- Drafting and obtaining collateral warranties;
- Advise non-lawyer colleagues on minor disputes;
- Drafting, negotiating and completing bond documentation including highway and drainage agreements;
- Advise on general commercial contracts;
- Assist with corporate governance.
Profile
The ideal In-house Construction Lawyer will be 5-6 years PQE with demonstrable expertise in non-contentious construction. Flexible.
- Experience dealing with NEC based contract and bespoke terms
- Commercial awareness
- Decision making and problem solving skills.

You'll also work on a hybrid basis, with office attendance in Preston required multiple times per week.
