In-House Litigation Lawyer

Superb opportunity for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join a thriving national business, in a role with flexibility around hours and hybrid/remote working.
My client is seeking an in-house Litigation Lawyer to join its team in a new role handling a range of contentious matters including contractual disputes, debt recovery, property litigation and other commercial disputes.
The business operates a large portfolio of commercial properties across the UK, and you will be resolving contentious issues which may arise such as recovery of outstanding payments and disputes relating to the properties themselves, as well as any other matters relating to the running of the business which become contentious. The position of in-house Litigation Lawyer is newly-created and offers great scope to develop the role into a crucial part of the existing legal function, and bringing in-house much of the work for which the business currently utilises external advisors.
The company will consider applications from qualified solicitors and legal executives who have a proven track record of managing matters of the nature indicated above, and ideally have conducted matters at small claims court. They may also consider portfolio lawyers or consultants who have other business interests and clients but would be willing to commit to a permanent arrangement with this organisation alongside those.
The role is expected to be on a part-time basis, with plenty of flexibility from 15-25 hours per week and can be fitted around school hours if preferred. The role can be on a largely home-working basis, albeit there will be a requirement to attend its offices in Cambridgeshire once or twice a month.
