Candidates will need to have fast and accurate inputting skills, alongside a serious attention to detail, as the role includes entry of pedigrees, race cards and results for international horse racing into a bespoke database.
Knowledge of horse racing terminology (especially Korean) is a major plus as is a working knowledge of the sport on an international scale. Although this position would be working from home, excellent communication skills to liaise with the rest of the team (via Microsoft Teams) and clients is essential.
This is a part-time role – initially 14 hours per week split over two or three shifts, predominantly at the weekend. Salary will start at £11.50 per hour with a review after completion of a 3-month probation period. Statutory holiday pay and an auto enrolment pension scheme apply.
Additional hours will be regularly available to provide holiday cover. In summary – accuracy and flexibility whilst working to deadlines are key.
