Manpower is recruiting compassionate and dedicated individuals on behalf of our public sector client as a Call Handler.
As a Call Handler, you will play a crucial role in answering incoming calls on the 111 Prescription line, providing exceptional service to patients and ensuring a positive overall experience. Prior to taking on the responsibilities of the role, you will be required to attend a comprehensive 1-2 day training that you must pass.
Availability requirements
You must be able to most weekends Saturday and Sunday throughout March and April.
Shift times: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Location: Swansea (due to the location and availability of public transport you will need your own transport)
Responsibilities:
- Answering Inbound Calls, providing accurate information, and addressing prescription queries with professionalism.
- Maintaining meticulous and detailed records of all calls handled.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure
- Educational background: 5 GCSEs at Grade A-C or equivalent
- Satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check are mandatory; Manpower covers the cost of the DBS check.
Pay Rates:
- Saturdays: £15.75 per hour
- Sundays & Bank Holidays: £19.72 per hour
