Remote-based work within the UK with very occasional travel to our Coventry Head Office or one of our UK Study Centres (Birmingham, Leeds, London or Manchester)

The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a new Inclusion Advisor (Student Disability) to cover a period of maternity leave.

You will work as part of a dedicated team leading on providing service-related advice, guidance, and inclusion training for students and colleagues. Working closely with the Senior Disability Adviser you will implement and monitor effective systems that promote inclusion, equality and ensure all students have the right foundations to promote success. You will support the team to screen for Specific Learning Disabilities (SpLDs) and make referrals for diagnostic assessments as well as making referrals to our Non Medical Health (NMH) support providers and our self-serve Inclusion portal platform.

Your aim will be to go 'above and beyond' to deliver an exceptional service, recognising the importance of providing a professional, friendly and approachable interaction.

About You:
You will have considerable experience in Student Disability support, preferably in HE. You will also have a demonstrable passion for Inclusive practice and helping students to overcome challenges or barriers. You will have a willingness to learn new skills and contribute to the successful development of the service. You must hold a qualification in education, disability or other relevant area; membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to prioritise and organise a varied workload.
