Job Description

Hours: 35 hours per week, TTO (39 weeks per year)

NJC Scale: 20-24

Actual Salary: £24,649 - £26,987

‘We will work inclusively within our communities, embracing the varied localities we serve, while sharing our common vision and values’. We share a passion about Diversity and Inclusion and welcome all applications and are open to flexible working.

Our Wellbeing Strategy covers four key areas: Working Environment, Personal Growth, Health and Lifestyle Initiatives and Culture.

Do these values sound like values you could be a part of? If so, we welcome the opportunity to meet you.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident person who will work well as part of the Pastoral Team. The Inclusions Manager will help manage and improve the behaviour and progress of students within the academy and support students in being ready to learn, be happy, successful, and positive members of the academy community.

If you enjoy working with young people and would like to help them as they prepare for their future working lives, we would like to hear from you.

We deliver high quality learning experiences and aim for the best possible achievement for every student. Mildenhall College Academy was graded ‘good’ by Ofsted, November 2018.

Why choose Mildenhall College Academy? We have a key focus on staff well-being, with a number of initiatives in place across the academy including bespoke departmental marking and assessment policies which have dramatically reduced teacher workload. If you want to inspire, aspire, and achieve, come, and join something special and make your mark.

We aim to provide our young people with the qualifications, skills, and attributes to have a successful and happy life.

In return, you can expect fantastic Professional Development opportunities, a comprehensive employee benefits package, shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets and an employee assistance programme.

Are you ready to make a difference and join our journey? If you wish to learn more information and apply for the role of Inclusion Manager, please see our application pack and visit our careers page.

We are proud to be a part of the Academy Transformation Trust family of academies whose mission is to transform learning, aspirations and opportunities for their pupils and the communities in which they live. This commitment also extends to staff who are key to their success.
