We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive team in Hounslow. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for working with special educational needs students.

Day to day of the role:

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet the individual needs of SEN students.
• Create a learning environment that is engaging, inclusive and safe.
• Assess and record each student’s progress while setting challenging yet achievable goals.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the students’ education and well-being.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in teaching students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the SEN code of practice and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and organise effectively.
• Patience, resilience, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
