Description
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies - within fleet and facilities management
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory standards and company policies
- Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement process
Profile
A successful Category Manager should have:
- Indirect procurement experience, ideally within fleet and/or facilities management
- Strong communication skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analysing data
Job Offer
- A competitive salary ranging between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
