We are now looking to increase our pool of Teaching Assistants we can offer to these outstanding schools. We are looking for flexible Teaching Assistants who are open to both short and long term contracts to start as soon as possible. This role is for a small and friendly school, who work hard to create a calm environment for their students, with access to personalised learning for all. The students range from ages 7-18 years old, all with social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) needs. They also have a nurture class for students with ASC. The successful candidate will work to support teachers, alongside other support staff and therapists, to help nurture a therapeutic environment and deliver the curriculum. Our teaching assistants' duties can include: Working with small groups of pupils Providing intervention support 1:1 support for SEND pupils The ideal applicant will have: Some experience of working with children, in a personal or professional capacity, or in a school A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils The ability to foster positive relationships Bundles of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils Highlights of becoming an Engage Teaching Assistant Earn a minimum of £375 per week Full-time and part-time positions available Develop your knowledge of the national curriculum Ideal post for graduates looking to move into a career in teaching Why choose Engage Education?
