A fantastic chance to become a member of our European Technical Center has presented itself. To offer product support to our European branches, we are searching for an engineer with prior expertise configuring and programming PLCs. It is necessary to have knowledge of some of the most popular industrial communication protocols, such as IO-Link, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT. The position entails assisting with specific customer applications, conducting fault investigations, and responding to technical inquiries in order to support our electrical products. In addition, the chosen applicant will have to write operating manuals and technical guides, conduct tests and investigations to assess products, and develop and deliver training sessions and presentations to European companies. We are currently growing our European Technical Center, which offers prospects for advancement to individuals who join. As members of Japan's worldwide development team, we are committed to providing our clients with cutting-edge, long-lasting solutions.

Responsibilities:

• A Degree or HND Qualification - Electrical, Electronics, Software or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder or Structured Text programming language.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to write detailed, technical reports and product documentation.
• The ability to occasionally travel to Europe.

Desirable:

• Experience of inspecting and testing devices
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical test equipment
• Experience to plan and manage projects
• Technical product support experience
• Experience of delivering technical training
• Experience with some industrial communication protocols for example PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and IO-Link
