We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to play a pivotal role in our cutting-edge manufacturing facility. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with spearheading production concepts, enhancing process quality, controlling manufacturing costs, eliminating waste, and implementing state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of new manufacturing facilities
- Start to end production process flow creation
- Match manning to the ideal production process update
- Identification and implementation of IIOT technology
- Process safety risk assessment management following training
- Leading quality improvement investigations and developing improvement actions
Essential Criteria:
- A dedicated team player with strong communication skills
- Relevant engineering Degree/HNC or time served technician with experience
- Positive attitude towards working towards and meeting deadlines
- Willingness to travel to support projects, both domestic UK and overseas
- Self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work autonomously when required
Desirable Criteria:
- Productivity collection and analysis
- Problem solving techniques
- Quality improvement project work
- Demonstrate an understanding of Lean, Kaizen, SPC, 5S and other philosophies highly beneficial
- Ability to seek out opportunities for improvement within the facility, utilizing necessary tools where appropriate (DMAIC, FMEA, DFM, Potential Problem Analysis)
