MidKent College is at the heart of the education sector in South East England, and a College which Ofsted recognised as Good for overall effectiveness, in a November 2018 inspection.
As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for two Industry Liason Officers to join our Apprenticeships Team.

Details of the role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for Identifying and promoting opportunities for local business to engage with the college to support student development. Identify and co-ordinate work experience placements to meet academic needs. To support employers with identifying candidates to meet recruitment needs including apprenticeship opportunities. Co-ordinate and administer essential compliance processes. Develop key industry links and maintain excellent working relationships with employers in line with our Strategic Plan.
We have two full time opportunities, working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Job Requirements
You will have relevant qualifications in English and Maths.
You will be able to proactively engage with local business to promote the introduction of students for work experience, industry placements, enrichment and general supportive engagement.
You will have the ability to match suitable students to work placement and apprenticeship opportunities and facilitate the find an apprentice recruitment service which includes external applicants. As well as co-ordinate work placement arrangements.
You will be a confident, professional communicator both face to face and via digital and have the ability to communicate with students and employers at all levels.
