Role Summary To provide specialist information performance support to the Senior Information Analysts and work as part of this small team in supporting the information requirements of the Trust and the delivery of the Performance Management aspects of the Trusts IM&T Strategy. Key responsibilities Support the provision of an Information Analysis Service to Clinical and Non-Clinical Staff within the Trust. This requires providing accurate and timely information from complex data sets providing guidance where appropriate. To undertake audit and validation of data within Trust Information systems to support robust reporting to the divisional structure, Executive and external statutory bodies.
Assist and support the timely production of routine reports that support reporting for National Programmes e.g. Referral to Treatment (RTT). Assist in the analysis of data in response to ad-hoc requests Provision of daily and weekly reporting under the supervision of a senior Information Analyst. Facilitate the sign-off of returns with the appropriate person, before submission.
Assist in the timely completion of mandatory quarterly and annual returns for the Department of Health. Participate in the use of Trusts reporting systems. Assist in the preparation and entering of data into Department of Health reporting systems e.g. Unify In conjunction with other team members prepare and assist in the development of robust service improvement solutions.
Assist in the maintenance of the departments Intranet site. General Duties and Responsibilities The post holder also has the following general responsibilities: To actively contribute to the overall development of the IM&T Department and the improvement of its services. To assist in the development of IM&T policies, standards and procedures. To identify, agree and monitor measurable performance objectives with the Deputy Head of Information.
To assist other members of the IM&T Department to fulfil their duties. Any other duties required by the Trust commensurate with the grade.
