About The Role
The post-holder will have the ability to communicate and converse in English and Welsh.
As Information and Enquiries Assistant you will provide the University’s initial response to general enquiries by members of the public. As such you will be the voice and face of Swansea University.
You will play a pivotal role in addressing customer enquiries received through calls to the University’s switchboard or visits by members of the public, students and staff to Fulton House Reception on Singleton Campus. You will provide accurate Information and further direct the customer towards the appropriate resources and support services available.
We’re looking for a confident and resilient individual who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service using clear communication, provided in both English and Welsh. You will be motivated by teamwork as well as being self-motivated and will show a willingness and ability to always learn new information to aid customers. You will work collaboratively with a range of University teams to respond to queries raised by students, staff and members of the public, and work closely in particular with teams in Estates, Residential Services, Student Life and the Student Union.
