Location: Hybrid - Home with some office work

About the role
The Information and Sufficiency Officer (Early Years) will work closely with the Early Years Strategy Manager within the wider School Improvement team delivering services to families, early years’ providers, schools and out of school clubs across the county as well as internal and external colleagues. You will be able to work flexibly from home or be based at the County Hall offices in Northallerton.
Reporting to the Early Years Strategy Manager, you must be able to work independently as part of small, supportive team to deliver a wide range of services relating to early years (children aged 0 – 5 years) and wraparound provision. This includes ensuring there is sufficient childcare available for working parents, processing and monitoring of government funding for disadvantaged eligible two-year-old children and providing information, advice and assistance to families, colleagues and childcare providers.
You must have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills together with good working knowledge of word processing and working with spreadsheets. Ideally, you’ll also have some experience of providing information, advice and guidance to customers or the public, and knowledge of a variety of computer packages.
