The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Assurance Supply Chain CyberSecurity Specialist to join Babcock's Supply Chain.
Day to day, you will be providing guidance and assurance of Cyber Security and Information Assurance within the Babcock International Group's Supply Chain, including in relation to UK MoD Defence Standard (Def Stan) 05-138 Cyber Security Standard for Suppliers and associated Defence Condition (Def Con) 658, Cyber and International equivalents.
- Create and maintain Group Policy and Processes on IA Supply Chain Security, liaising with the Procurement and Commercial Functions and other appropriate stakeholders to ensure a coherent and proportionate approach is maintained.
- Assess cyber assurance of suppliers at on-boarding and contract stages, including where applicable provision of guidance on Def Stan 05-138, assessing any Cyber Improvement Plans provided by suppliers.
- Maintain Supply Chain security data and reports.
- Create an audit strategy and carry out audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual security arrangements, including, where applicable, Security Aspects Letters.
- Identify, support and escalate IA Supply Chain cyber risks to stakeholders, including where applicable suppliers themselves.
This role is Full Time, working 37.5 hours per week.
Essential experience of the Information AssuranceSupply Chain Cyber Security Specialist:
- Experience of Information Assurance Supply Chain
- Experience of writing policies and processes
- Competent in MS office packages
- Data extract and reporting skills
- Understanding of cyber risks in the Supply Chain
- Ability to build working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group
- Must be able to drive with valid driving licence due to travel requirements
